Get started in 5 minutes: from zero to pro 3D model animation—no experience required

Select a Model

iMockup supports various model types, including phones, tablets, computers, watches, text, and images. Choose a model from the library on the left and click the add button to import it.

Set Animation

After selecting a model, click the add animation button at the desired place on the timeline. You can drag the small circles on either side of the animation to adjust its start and end time. You can also click these points to fine-tune the model's position, angle, and more using the bottom bar or the right control panel.

Just set the start and end positions for your model—the rest of the animation is handled automatically, that simple.

Show Images/Videos

Each animation segment can have its own image or video, which will seamlessly transition at the start of that segment. Drag an image directly onto your model, or click upload in the right panel.

Export a Fine Video

One last step: render your animation as a video. Standard mode outputs mp4 by default. If you want a transparent background, choose the original quality MOV option. Click export and wait for the video to finish—do not operate the page while exporting.

For higher clarity, you can adjust the video resolution. The default is 1920x1080, but you can set it to 3840x2160 for 4K quality.

Frequently asked questions

Have a different question and can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Sending us an email. Contact us, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Is the exported video not clear enough?
If clarity is insufficient, increase the resolution. The default is 1920x1080; set it to 3840x2160 for true 4K.
The page shows an error or crashes?
First check your network and browser extensions. Try Chrome or an incognito window. If the issue persists, please email us.
No transparent background in the exported video?
MP4 does not support alpha transparency. For a transparent background, export in original quality MOV or use WebM.
How do I upload images/videos to the model?
Drag images/videos directly onto the model, or click the upload button in the right panel to select files.
Will more models/templates be added?
Yes. We’re continuously updating models and templates. Email us if you have specific requests.
Rendering is slow—what can I do?
If quality needs are standard, use Standard mode, or lower resolution/frame rate to speed up rendering.
